THE MOOnrise suite

Encompassing the entire second floor, guests enjoy 2 spacious 8 tatami mat rooms and a seating area with a garden and sea view for enjoying your tea and reflecting on your experiences of the art islands.

This private suite can accommodate 1-4 guests.

THE Ponpoko suite

The Ponpoko "mini" Suite, is ideal for couples. It has a comfortable double bed with high quality linens, and a connected dressing room for your luggage etc. The glass doors open directly onto the traditional garden and you have a view of the gorgeous scholar stones.

This mini suite can accommodate 1-2 guests

Bathrooms are shared.

THE Chicchai rOOm

This 3 tatami mat room is dedicated to solo female travelers. Providing a private room with access to all of the common spaces makes it great value and extremely safe and comfortable. 

This room can accommodate 1 person.

Breakfast time around our family table brings our guests together to share stories, travel tips and other inspirations. We have always found that the best experiences traveling were because we spoke with a random stranger who shared a recommendation - in fact, that’s the reason why we first visited Naoshima!

Living ROOm

Our Western-style living room provides a space for you to sit and relax after a long day of exploring. Enjoy our comfortable couches with a book and a view of the garden!

BATHROOMS

Our shared bathrooms include two showers with complimentary Muji bath products, a Western-style toilet, and a traditional Japanese toilet (washiki).

(Please note: The Sadou Suite has its own private Western-style toilet)
